For the fourth installment of our Journeys photo essay series we follow along with Shwood Collaborator Tara Michie on a 3-day trip to Kaua’i, Hawai’i. Tara has spent most of her life on the Big Island and O‘ahu, so going to Kaua‘i for the weekend is always an exciting little adventure. Traveling between the islands is pretty easy. It takes less than half an hour from Honolulu to Lihu‘e airport and all that’s really needed is a quick carry-on with a few essentials. The best part about island-hopping is connecting with friends and spending the weekend doing as the locals do.
