The over sized nest is intended to inspire others to make the trek into the woods surrounding Mt. Hood. Those who successfully locate the fort are encouraged to add onto the structure and share with others. The first person to discover the nest will be greeted with a free pair of sunglasses stashed inside! Happy hunting…

FIND THE SHWOOD BACKCOUNTRY NEST

Coordinates: N 45º 21.217′    W 121º 34.261′

The nest is located off HWY 35 in the Mt. Hood National Forest.  While driving north on HWY 35, the entrance to the road is approximately a half mile before mile marker 70.  We have placed a few landmarks along the way to help point you in the right direction.  Keep on eye out for the following…
