Few contemporary bands have been able to epitomize this sound as precisely as Australia’s Tame Impala, so it’s been quite difficult to take their sophomore LP “Lonerism” off repeat since its release earlier this month.  Maintaining a balance of equal parts hard rock riffs with ample breathing room to explore psychedelic textures, the band has executed a brilliant album that will only further solidify their cult status.
